Decova vs WeddingBazaar
They have millions in funding. Thousands of vendors. Years of history. And yet — on every feature that actually matters — Decova wins. This is your edge.

Social Media Strategy
The Core Philosophy
Don't announce. Intrigue.
Most brands launch by saying "We're open for business!" Nobody cares. Instead you make people feel something before they know what you do. You build an audience that wants to know. By the time you reveal Decova — they're already leaning in.
The 4-Phase Launch Strategy
01
The Curiosity Phase
Weeks 1–2 · Before any reveal
Start Here
Post beautiful, mysterious content. No logo. No name. No "coming soon." Just images, questions, and observations that make people stop scrolling. The account name @weave.decova does the teasing for you.
Post Ideas — Copy & Post Immediately
Post 1 — The Question
"How many hours did you spend finding your wedding decorator? We asked 50 brides in Mumbai. The average answer broke our heart."
Visual: A stunning decorated mandap. No text overlay. Let the caption do the work.
#MumbaiWedding #WeddingDecor #BridalDiaries #WeddingPlanning #MumbaiEvents
Post 2 — The Observation
"The decorator who did this mandap charges ₹80,000. The one next door charges ₹3,20,000 for the same look. Same flowers. Same drapes. Both are in Navi Mumbai. The gap isn't skill — it's discovery."
Visual: Two side-by-side mandap photos, similar aesthetic. No branding.
#WeddingBudget #WeddingTips #NaviMumbaiWedding #WeddingVendors
Post 3 — The Story
"My friend spent 6 weekends visiting decorators before her wedding. On the 7th weekend she cried in the car. Not from happiness. From exhaustion. There has to be a better way."
Visual: A single beautiful detail shot — marigold strings, a diya, draped fabric. Intimate and warm.
#BridalStories #WeddingSeason #IndianWedding #WeddingPlanning2026
Post 4 — The Tease (Reel/Story)
"Something is being woven. Reveal soon."
Visual: A slow close-up of marigold garlands being strung, or fabric being draped. 7-second reel. No music needed — the visual does everything. Post as both Reel and Story.
#ComingSoon #WatchThisSpace
02
The Credibility Phase
Weeks 3–4 · Build trust before reveal
Start showing that you know this industry deeply. Education posts. Insider knowledge. Make the audience feel like they're getting access to something they couldn't find anywhere else.
Post 5 — The Education (Save-worthy)
"5 questions you must ask before booking a wedding decorator in Mumbai. Most couples skip question 3 and regret it. 🧵"
Thread: 1. Do you own your props or rent? 2. Who is the actual on-day team? 3. Have you done this venue before? 4. What happens if something breaks? 5. Can I see your last 3 real weddings — not portfolio edits?
Carousel: One question per slide. Clean, readable. This will get saved 200+ times.
Post 6 — The Behind the Scenes
"I spent the last 3 weeks meeting decorators across Navi Mumbai. Here's what I found. [Photo dump — 6 photos of different vendor setups, props, warehouses]"
This builds massive credibility. You're doing real work. Show it. Don't explain Decova yet.
Post 7 — The Trend Hook
"Mumbai brides in 2026 are asking for this. Minimal floral, warm lighting, no plastic. The maximalist mandap era is over. Here's what's replacing it."
Carousel with 5 trend images. Each slide = one trend. Last slide = "We're building something for this new era."
03
The Reveal Phase
Week 5 · The moment
By now you have followers who are curious, trust you, and are waiting. The reveal lands with weight because you earned it. Not because you announced it.
The Launch Post — Reel
"You asked what we're building. Here it is."
Reel: 30-second brand film. Show the logo animating in. Show the weave. Show the wordmark. Voice or text overlay: "Tell us your dream. We find your decorator. In 48 hours. decova.in"
This is your biggest post. Boost it with ₹500 in Meta ads targeting Mumbai brides 24–35.
Follow-up Post — Same Day
"DM us the word DECOVA. First 10 couples get their decoration brief curated for free. No strings. Just our way of saying thank you for waiting."
This converts followers to leads on day 1. The DM keyword creates engagement signals that boost the algorithm.
04
The Momentum Phase
Week 6+ · Keep building
Post consistently. Mix content types. Every post has one job — bring you one step closer to your next booking or your next vendor.
Monday — Education
Save-worthy tip. Wedding planning advice. Things no one tells brides.
Wednesday — Vendor Spotlight
Feature one vendor. Their story, their best work, their specialty. Tag them.
Friday — Social Proof
Screenshot a happy WhatsApp. A thank you DM. A before/after. Real beats perfect.
Sunday Story — Personal
Behind the scenes. Planning next week. What you learned. Founders who show themselves win.
10 Rules — Never Break These
1. Never post without a visual. Every caption needs a photo or reel. Even a simple flat lay works.
2. Reply to every DM and comment within 2 hours for the first 3 months. The algorithm rewards fast replies with reach.
3. Never use stock photos. Real venue, real work, real people only. Authenticity is your edge over funded competitors.
4. The first line of every caption decides if they read further. Write 5 versions of the first line before posting.
5. 3 posts per week minimum. Consistency beats quality. Posting 3x/week for a year beats 1 viral post and silence.
6. End every caption with a question or a call to action. "Which would you choose?" "DM us your venue." "Save this for later."
7. Use 5–8 hashtags, not 30. Instagram deprioritises hashtag-stuffed posts. Fewer, more targeted is better.
8. Post Reels even if imperfect. Instagram's algorithm gives Reels 4× the organic reach of static posts right now.
9. Share every post to Stories immediately. Stories reach people who missed the main post in the feed.
10. Your wedding is your first case study. Document everything — the search, the brief, the vendor you chose, the setup, the result. That's 20 posts right there.
Your Exact First Week — Day by Day
Day 1
Upload profile pic. Set bio to: "Weaving decoration into your celebration ✦ Mumbai · Coming soon → decova.in" Post the Question post (Post 1 above). WhatsApp 3 decorators from your wedding contacts.
Day 3
Post the Observation post (Post 2). Follow 50 Mumbai wedding accounts — photographers, planners, venues, bridal wear. They will follow back.
Day 5
Post the Story post (Post 3). Add a poll to Stories: "How long did you spend searching for your decorator? Under 2 weeks / Over a month." Every response is a lead.
Day 7
Post the Tease Reel (Post 4). By end of week 1 you should have 30–80 followers and at least 3 DMs asking what Decova is. That's your signal it's working.

The Decova Mark — Explained
01
Sacred Thread
Continuous wound gold thread — layered strokes creating rope texture. Rotates slowly. Like the mangalsutra.
02
Four Diagonal Petals
Sit between the weave arms at 45°, 135°, 225°, 315°. Rotate with the thread. The four directions of celebration.
03
Calligraphic Weave
Two crossing arms — thick outer border, thin inner edge. Like a mehndi artist's loaded brush. Customer vision × decorator craft.

04
Six-Petal Lotus Crown
The jewel is a lotus — six petals at 60° each. Sacred bloom. No black dot. Pure gold family. India's most auspicious flower.
05
The Pulsing Core
Tiny gold dot at centre. Breathes gently. The singular moment the couple walks in and sees exactly what they dreamed.
06
All Gold. One Family.
Every element uses the same gold palette. #E8C97A → #C9A84C → #A07828. One material. Hammered. Indivisible.
